starting out Lesson 85

Replace my picture with yours.

The picture should not be any wider than 450 pixels.

This tutorial is based on Rainy's Linkware Webset named Independent.

Rainy's Linkware site no longer seems to be active (April 2015)

She has been so kind to permit me to use her linkware for a lesson.

I just turned her beautiful design into a lesson for you.

This is my version of her design.

You can see her Independent Linkware HERE.

6. File > Export as a png file to save.

 Sizes for all graphic are:

 header 700 x 400

title 504 x 138

title2 333 x 86

picture 450 x 456

(Frame it with the main color.)

Edit the code:

If any graphics are different sizes, change the code.

Edit the font, scrollbar and background colors.

There are no graphic backgrounds in this code.

Use a color code number.

There are three major areas that you must change to the main color code.

My main color is #004e75.

Replace the above color code with your main color code.

Easy way to do this is in Notepad.

Edit > Replace

Settings: Find What #004e75

Replace With #Your Main Color Code Number

Click Replace All.

This will have changed the main color.

You can do the same with the font color.

I used white. (#ffffff)

Replace the Links with what you want.

Add your links to the tabs.

Thank you.

Hugs,

Lady Ann
