We will be making one Linkware webset for this lesson.
See my example by clicking on the blinkie below.
Supplies Needed:
Linkware Webset to share with others.
It is important to note that the webset must be all your own creation. If you
use an image from another artist, you must ensure that you are using that image according to the Artist's TOU. Credit must be included for the Artist and a link to the Artist's site. Just a suggestion, if you don't know who the Artist is, don't use it.
Coding for the box is included.
1. Create a webset that you want to use for Linkware.
2. You will have two separate folders.
3. Name one folder 81 and one folder the name of the webset.
4. I named my linkware Sweet Patience.
5. The folder that has Sweet Patience can not have any link information in the code.
Linkware means you can use my webset in exchange for a link to my site on your website.
Linkware does not mean you can hotlink.
6. This is what you place inside the your linkware folder:
7. Make sure that you place these files in the folder with the webset name then zip the folder.
8. Make sure you include a small site blinkie for the footer to link to your site.
Click on the blinkie below to see how it will look when the person uploads your linkware webset to their site minus their links.
9. Include your TOU txt file.
10. You may create a TOU web page so they can read it online.
See an
example of a TOU page by clicking on the blinkie.
11. This is what you place in your lesson folder.
To add music, add this code after the header.
You will need to change it to your file name and file extension.
